First, the users have to write the geographic latitude and longitude and the current date and time in the textboxes manually, or dinamically. In the latter case, the application using JavaScript Geolocation API. Finally, the users have to click on "Show the sun elevation" button. The blue lines and the labels represent the rotatable plane. The red lines indicates the elevation on the wheel’s vertical axis at the given date. It helps to read the sun pointer.
Furthermore, the application calculates the sunrise and sunset time, and the direction of the sun on the sky.
